CTR below 1% this month, it is normal?

OK, I have analyzed my site and changed some placements but I just want some answers, it is normal if I got ~10,000 page impression per day (in the last one month) and my CTR, in average, is only 0.90%? I know this is very low but after I analyzed it, I realized that my returned visitors are more than 50% every day. So it is normal if my CTR is below 1% because of my visitors?

It all depends on your site, your placement, etc. That is not a terribly low CTR... I would guess you could improve it somewhat... but you are not doing too bad if it is a forum, etc.

it is not a forum. It is a soccer site, you can check it in my signature. I don't know about my placement so can I ask for some reviews? I ever tried to post this to subforum reviews/placement but no answer there. It looked like people never go there.

Well the reason the CTR is low coz u get more return visitors. The moment you get more unique visitors especially from search engines, your CTR should improve.

People often make a mistake. They try to improve TRAFFIC without understanding the whats the best source.

Always remember only SE traffic will improve your adsense earnings, the rest is all crap.

I know and I am still working on it. Thanks for your answer. I think I have the same opinion with you. I got many returned visitors, that's why my CTR is so low.

Your ads placement is not good enough!

    http://www.dailysoccerblog.net/premiership.html

change top small to the big one and put it under first post. it may help :D

Move sidebar ad to upper because a bit user will scroll down to click your ad :)

Yes, I would change the ad's positions around on the sub pages. Also, drop the 728x90 box on the front page and put a 120x600 box above the nav panel on the right. Experiment with the different places you can put the advertisements. Assign each place a custom channel, keep the high ctr positions and change the low ctr channels. Also, get something that will alternate the colors around.

Hey thanks for your tip. But what do you mean with 'big one'? Can give me more detailed desc.? Do you mean square ads? And about sidebar ad to upper, how can I do that? I mean, put it above the navigation bar?

@exodus: Thanks. Anyway, I have changed some of the placement ads in my web pages. But not index and first sub-web pages.

I don't know. Maybe social bookmarking and from returned people who tell their friends. I get traffic from search engine too but maybe only around 30%. This because I only get the fifth position in my targeted keyword.
