Hey guys, well i've been using adsense for a very short period of time, maybe 1 month or less. I never seem to make any money even though my traffic is pretty decent.

    For example:

I get around 300-500 visits a day (110,000 impressions a month) - around 80% traffic is from USA/Canada/UK/AU (mainly usa) and 20% is india and other countries.

My CTR is extremely low, less then 1% the past 2 days i've had 0% ctr lol, and I made $0.02 and $0.01 the day before.

What I know is that my ad placement sucks, its terrible, I know not much but if someone can help me PLEASE PM ME YOUR SKYPE I will add you.

All help is appreciated, please pm ur skype so u can take a look and give me feedback on what to change.

    thank you so much.

The tech niche don't really get many clicks. Generally users are pretty computer savvy (in the tech niche) and know what ads look like so they avoid clicking them. This could be part of your problem. I would also check out the heat map mentioned above and would go more for image ads. Text ads users can see the URL so they might just go directly to the site without clicking the ad.

Do you recommend I stop using adsense and using something else?

no but would recommend experimenting with something else. Try Uniblue affiliate program. I have made some decent commissions with far less traffic than what you mentioned. http://www.uniblue.com/company/affiliates/

If others can recommend me other way to get revenue it would be great. It does seem my users are "too" techy savvy.

Try to get more traffic and then you can start to optimize your ads. 300-500 might not be something to relevant for your tests. Just keep up the good work and try to improve your daily uv a few months.

Bro, you need to focus on your ads placements and formats. If you use correct ad formats at correct placements you can get a CTR upto 6% (in tech niche). I have a technology blog and I am proud to say that my CTR varies from 4 to 6 percent. @indyonline , Tech blogs have higher CTR then most of the niches.

I recommend you to read this simple article, it will help you to place correct ad formats at correct placements.
