Thats right, CTR isn't big factor for getting banned. I have adsense account with 5% CTR but still banned by google after the payout limit without any clear reason. I never click by myself or did anything break the TOS and they still said that but never try to prove it.

First: That's a HUGE CTR. Good job. How'd you do that?

Second: No, you won't be banned. CTR doesn't matter. What matters is where the clicks come from.

Google will not ban you for CTR 5-6% but they will flag and monitor the accounts that has CTR above 30%.

CTR really matters it has to be below 8 % but if we have organic traffic our account is safe for sure ...

Its a really very high CTR and google will monitor well and there is a chance to get banned so get more traffic to your site and lower a ctr

There's ALWAYS a chance of getting banned if you're doing something you're not supposed to....and BTW, CTR is a measure of the clicks vs the traffic, just because you get more traffic doesn't mean the rate of clicks will go down unless you bring it poor quality traffic which might have worse an effect as far as Google is concerned than the high CTR in the first place.

Could you post your source on this info?

To the OP I would not worry unless you are doing something to violate TOS.

As long as the traffic you are sending is on the up and up a high ctr is not relevant. In fact, if you average A high ctr with quality traffic it can even increase your payout per click. I have consistantly been paid on sites that average over 10% ctr with never any problems from Google.

I completely agree. It is all about the origin of the clicks. Fraudulent clicks will get you banned quick.

Because Google has advanced technology that determines user action and compares many other variables to detect fraud.

It was common for me on sites I had that only had the adsense code on the main home page. This prevented a boost of impressions when visitors clicked through on the other pages.
