    Take off the top ad and put a vertical ad in the side bar. Move the adsense link unit to the top where that square ad *used to be.* Those square ads look pretty useless to me. Try to squeeze in a 728 somewhere.

    I would move the sidebar to the left.
    Put the link unit under the green bar more and maybe put it in a grey or black background.
    Ditch the Calendar, no-one cares trust me and put your skyscraper the farthest up you can.
    Add a 234 X 90 banner under every post.

    the ads are still poorly inserted into the blog. the site also loads really slow.
