CSS/XHTML fix

Hello, I have a site that I have almost completed the markup for. It's clean, but I've run into a couple issues that I could use some help with. Primarily it has to do with fixing fluid sidebars that I want as fixed (with a fluid center remaining fluid) and fixing some button issues. If anyone has experience with creating scalable css buttons and has good knowledge of fluid design, please get back to me. I'll follow up and we can talk rate. For an experienced coder, this should take too long to accomplish, probably around 5 hrs or so.

    Thanks!

A major (only?) purpose of a forum like this is to share our knowledge and our problems for the benefit of all. See http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Post your code, along with a problem statement. Let us try to help you.

Just as a suggestion, float the outer columns right and left. Then the center column can be given side margins equal to or slightly larger than the columns are wide. Fixed side columns and liquid center.

See sliding doors and sliding doors part 2.

If that's what you need, feel free to forward $375. for my time.:)

    cheers,

Yes, we really need to take a look at your CSS code to make sure the code is properly made and what not. I will be keeping a eye out for this post and seeing how things go.

    Here's a page:

    http://rudyi.com/staging/clients/marvgolden/site/mgcomp_pseudo-product-page.html

I'm pretty sure I can fix, but not sure if someone could do it cleaner than me. The left and right columns should be about 200px wide fixed while the center is fluid but with a min 550px wide so it can't get too small. I also want the bottom to be the same as well. And I think I need to redo some of the buttons. Anyway, any help is appreciated.
