CSS to create inner pages

I want to modify the inner or content pages on my site from the home or main page.

now I've got two stylesheets: layout.css and styles.css.

Would the right way to do this be to create a new layout.css page, like layout2.css which defined how I wanted the inner layout to look or is there a better way?

use one style sheet and try ti use different class name for each page if needed.
