css template

    I know this is really cheeky but if you dont ask you dont get.

    Ive made a template and my css is limited to links and things like that pretty basic, its not something i can use for layouts. Ive spent ags trying and can just not get it right


    I was wondering if i was to send my layout would anyone be willing to do the basic template? its literally a background image, a header image and then 2 rounded rectangle shapes, 1 for the menu and 1 for the main content. Im sure for someone that has the know how it would only take about 10mins however ive spent literally hours and i just cannot get my head round css

    the template is included in this message so if anyone is feeling generous i would really appreciate it.

    It is pointless in other people doing it for you though as when you need to change anything you wont know how it works. It is much better to learn how to do it yourself with the right tutorials it is easy enought to do what you want to do.

    i will be ok editing it, i know what to do when its there its just putting it all into place and in the right order and knowing what to put where, i didnt know you could do rounded corners in css though i was using images for that in html

    If you know how it works and will be able to edit things as you need in the future you should be able to make it in the first place then.

    Its not hard to make the layout your asking for.

    thats not quite true, i know how phpbb works and i could edit the template when its done but i couldnt make it from scratch, i know thats a lot more in depth but its the same principle.

    Well here is a 2 column layout ready for you to edit to your requirements then.

    It is currently a fluid layout and by the look of yours you want a fixed layout but thats easy enough to sort. Also you will have to edit widths and other styles to your needs but there is your basic layout.
