Hi, I downloaded a template for a website and used dreamweaver to edit it. I checked it in ie and it worked fine but then checked it in firefox and opel and the template doesnt load (only the images ect that I have added appear). Can anyone give me an idea of how to fix this.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hence your mistake. Never, ever use IE as a reference for how things work. It is 12 years behind all other browsers in modern standards and practices. Always, always use a modern browser, ANYTHING but IE, first to make sure your marku is correct. THEN check to see how IE screws things up but the quirks and bugs of IE are well known as are the hacks to fix it. Never trust IE to do anything right. It may be showing what you want but Firefox and Opera are showing what you wrote.

I have a css template and in firefox is working fine but in IE7 it looks very bad.So for my using firefox is the best option and the best browser i now.
So use only firefox,it's runing fuster than IE and is more safe to use

I totally agree with this, better use other browsers than IE to check the layout 1st and then fix it for IE.
