Css & Seo... h1, h2, h3...

    Hi Guys!!! :)
    Currently i have a commission for a css one page site...
    in the info email that the owner sent to me there is write:

    I will be SEOing the site heavily for on as well as off page - so will need
    styles for H1, H2, H3.


    But... what exactly means?
    i usually use the h1, h2, h3, tag for the text...
    i hope that somean can help me :)

    aahh!! actually he's gonna be using those tags to stuff his keyword, when he would be doing that he wouldnt want those tags to look shabby, if u use normal h1 tag, it appears quite big, and it mite not go with look n feel of the website hampering the user experience, so he would want you to create CSS for them so that they appear smaller or watever.

    So with this he would be able to use those tags making them not look as headings

    basically what he means is exactly what protocol96 said. search engines such as google and yahoo look for h1, h2, h3, etc. tags before they look at regular text. Usually, the major keywords your site will show up for are ones that are enclosed in heading tags on your site.
