Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions for both books & sites that will help me in becoming more proficient in CSS?
Thanks but I was looking for something a bit more specific. Obviously I have done the basic searches but I am finding that some code contradicts, some don't really explain the IE6 conflict. I have become rather confused with CSS & was hoping for a great suggestion for a point of reference.
I can appreciate what you are saying however, I have not found google or w3schools very helpful. So they don't really make a great resource for me... LOL Does anyone have a physical BOOK? Something that will help me to understand functions & codes, etc. I am finding that much of the code (I found on the internet) and tried to copy & implement to build a site usually does funky things to the pages. I just haven't had much success
get a pencil: Cascading Style Sheets, the definitive guide by Eric Meyer Matering Integrated HTML and CSS by Viginia DeBolt I do not necessarily support this software nor am I an affiliate, it is just a good tutorial: http://www.westciv.com/style_master/academy/hands_on_tutorial/02.css_intro.html Do not get this confused with the W3School website: http://www.w3.org/Style/Examples/011/firstcss
Also check out the new sitepoint CSS reference - It has everything: http://reference.sitepoint.com/css
