So i'm really new to the web design but my father-in-law wanted me to do one up for him. I'm running into a little problem though. I've had a lot of people say that they can't click any of the links if they're using Firefox. I've been told its a CSS problem but i'm not sure how to get it fixed. Well, for starters you are using VML which frankly, is not cross-browser deployable. there's a reason NOBODY uses it for web design. The entire thing is invalid markup and four to five times the code that should be used for such a simple layout. Of course, 99.99999% of your problem is right here: <meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0"> Frontpage - GAH. Welcome to designing 'websites' that will NEVER work properly cross-browser. Do yourself a favor, chuck that crap in the trash, grab notepad or one of the more advanced TEXT editors, learn HTML & CSS and use semantic minimalist VALID markup. The only thing you can learn from Frontpage, Dreamweaver or any other 'WYSIWYG' is how NOT to design a website.
I suggest you start learning how to code with an editor manually. Thats the best way if you are to become a sound web designer. It will make your codes neater and easy to use the code the way you like on a page PM me if you need some little tutorial.
I guess you wanted to make a website as fast and easily as possible. However, FrontPage generated websites do not following website developers "good practices", and they're quite difficult to fix "manually". Personally, if I've to use a web authoring system, I use NVU, which is free and quite powerful. In any case, if you're serious about making websites, you must learn the technologies behind it (HTML, CSS, Javascript...).
