    If you want to choose one out of CSS and HTML then I would suggest you to to go CSS. CSS has much more potential then the HTML, though HTML5 has much to show. I would prefer CSS. I am working in a Website Development Company and we mostly use CSS for websites and rest is your decision.

    you cant using just CSS or just HMTL. HTML and CSS like. your website must using HTML and to design or presentating your website you need CSS. like painting, HTML is a frame and canvas for your painting, CSS is a color for your painting.

    css is for giving proper layout to the website whereas the html is the basic coding. normally website contains both html and css.
