Evenin' all - long time lurker, first time poster here :)

I've just launched a project I've been working on for some time, so I guess this post is part shameless self-promotion and part sharing about (what I think is) a fantastic new service.

    CSS Galleries
    http://css-galleries.com

I became so fed up of having to trawl through dozens of RSS feeds from all of the big CSS design/inspiration showcase sites (CSS Mania, Stylegala, CSS Drive, CSS Beauty etc etc), and I decided that one feed of all content would make life so much easier. So I went ahead and build CSS Galleries. It's still in beta, but thought others would find it useful!

Nice site. My only quibble is that I would prefer the main column to be wider. Instead of 2 per row, I would do 3 or 4 per row. :)

That's a fair point actually. When I first started it, I hadn't planned on having so many thumbnails on the page. When I get some time this week I'll play around and see how it looks with a few more thumbnails per row. Ta!

I agree, though the design looks nice, its annoying to have to scroll so much to see all the sites

The primary aim is to provide the RSS feed (hence there's no archive or search utility on the site... yet) so I haven't been focusing on how the sites are displayed on the page.

But I've made the design wide enough to fit 4 thumbnails on each row, and I must say, I think it's an improvement. So thanks :)

It's a custom-built system I made. There's a simple database of galleries, sites and links between them, and some ASP code to collect the various data feeds and query the database. I thought about using a blogging engine, but since the whole site needed to be automated, I felt it easier to build my own.

Hi Nick, it's a nice idea and I will defitnetely be visiting it every now and then.

My only concern is that I wouldn't class some of the sites that you will get through W3csites and Dailyslurp as being CSS sites, some are table based.

Also W3csites isn't a showcase in the way that for example CSSimport is, so you won't get sites that are chosen for their great design neccesarily, maybe I am being over picky.

    Good work though.

Looks good to me, how could I get some of my sites listed? I've got many designs, using only css.
