CSS Footer Blues

I've been messing with this on and off for almost a week now, and I just can't figure it out.

The site is http://www.hanasalon.com - If you view the site on a higher resolution (I'm on 1280 x 1024), in Firefox, the footer gradient won't stick to the bottom of the browser. Also, in both IE and Firefox, I can't get the footer text to stick to the bottom of the screen. The home page is the only one really affected by this issue - The other pages have enough content to push the footer down to the bottom, where it should be (on most resolutions, anyway).

If anyone can offer any advice here, I'd really appreciate it, as I honestly have no idea what's wrong here, and I feel like I've tried everything. Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for your reply. It solved the problem on that specific page. For pages that have more content on them, though, it screwed up the footer. I'm working in the /x/ subdirectory - Here is an example of what I mean. Any idea what's going on here?

Well, your css doesn't match mine very closely, does it?

Be sure that your equivalents to html, body, #container, #main and #footer are exactly the same. Only after you get that part right, should you add any bits of your own.

    cheers,
