    Hi,

I'm working on my website and I need 3 different columns: left, center, right where center is fixed and the left & right are fluid.

:) thanks for showing interes and to answer you question, I don't have the website set up. In order to set up the website I need to know the information I talked about in the previouse post.

Therefore you must have not understand my problem.

I need 3 different columns. One centered column + 2 other columns situated simetric towards each other on the left and right of the centered column.

    Hope this is helpful.

Strange to see someone want fluid sidebars rather than fixed; it's usually the other way around. While this is not what you're actually looking for, you could modify this version of a fluid layout and see if it works for you.

Well you basically would take the interface I've posted above and changed the value for the width on the sidebars and center columns. That's all there is to it, unless you're looking for something else?

Set the sidebars to 50% on each side and that should do the trick; I believe the browser will automatically split the remaining available width between them.

i.e., it will take the display width, deduct the center column's size and then distribute the remaining width between both columns rather than use the body width. It's been a while since I've coded in fluid so I might be wrong, but that should be it.
