CSS Editor tool apart from Dreamweaver

    Do you know a CSS Editor tool,apart from Dreamweaver which is free and can be easily downloaded?

    Please guide.

    Since CSS is just plaintext, ANY plaintext editor will do... Notepad++, EditPlus, Win32pad, Crimson Editor, the one I currently use is Flo's Notepad2.

    Pick one, any one. You need anything 'more' than that, you're doing it all wrong... and if you are asking for a WYSIWYG or something with a preview pane, you're doing it SO wrong you're in the wrong line of work.

    But of course that's just part of why Dreamweaver is a fat bloated steaming pile I have difficulty fathoming how/why anyone would want to use it in the first place.

    I would suggest Notepad++ definitely with Compare and TextFX plugins.

    That's the most efficient way to properly learn HTML/CSS/PHP. May not be the easiest thought :)

    notepad ++ is the best for me. Moreover, you can write html, javascript and others using this great tool

    I write the CSS with wordpad, and then troubleshoot it WYSIWYG with Firebug installed on Firefox
