CSS borders for the ads, allowed?

Hi! This is my first post on DP. I have been reading many threads for months, but never needed to write: now I have a question that maybe you can answer.

I have a link bar of AdSense in the top of a site, and I added some CSS borders in the top and bottom of the ad block. Do you think this would violate the TOS? I mean, they can argue that I'm "trying to get the attention of the visitor". What do you think?

    Thanks in advance ;)

PS: I have uploaded a screenshot of the borders:

I would say that it is allowed but that is a good question, because even when you put adsense ads onto a website it will ALWAYS be in some sort of CSS (If your using CSS on your site), so I guess its just a thing of whether or not it is bringing too much attention or not.

Your best bet is to e-mail google.

    Thanks for your fast reply.

I'll send an e-mail to Google, but not today. Yesterday I sent them a report of fraudulent clicks, and I'm waiting for their answer. I don't want to change anything now. I removed the borders by the moment.

Well, I sent the question to the AdSense guys. I'll post here if they answer.

Yeah, I'd love to know the real policy regarding custom/emphasising borders.

I have just received an answer (they should reply faster...):

So... nothing in clear. Just "not drawing undue attention to the ad unit". I'm not taking the risk.
