Hi, Can anyone tell me difference differences betweeen CS2 and CS3 http://moderntechnologyforall.blogspot.com/ Thanx
CS is Creative Suite.. Probably, CS3 is the updated version of CS2. CS3 is more enhanced and has more great and new features than the old suite.
CS3 beats CS2 by far. I love the new interface, and it also got some things that are much better. But if you have got a bad computer I strongly recommend to use CS2 instead.
well if you don't have the money to buy cs3 cs2 will do it just fine for me there is no big difference only a few features got new names
CS3 is not the last photoshop. CS4 appeared a month ago i think.. well the difference is the new interface and some filters ... it's not a big change from CS2 and CS3.
The Cs3 interface is much more intuitive in terms of execution of actions and filters compared to Cs2. It does require more resource for doing that obviously. Plus, in cs3 you can directly import/export fireworks/flash/dreamweaver files and templates, copy paste to and from each application to the other on the fly.
I don't know about all the other CS3's but in Photoshop CS3, Adobe took out ImageReady which was like Photoshop CS2's little buddy that allow you to open .gif and edit the different frame. It's more troublesome to import .gif on Photoshop CS3, but it can still do it. However, if your .gif has transparency, then it becomes kind of funky when you load it into Photoshop CS3. I think the user interface on Photoshop CS3 is more clean and organized and it should be "better."
CS3 latest version. and yeh soon CS4 gonna come. You need fastt pc with good ram to use CS3. If not then go with CS2
well you'll need good ram for every CS version I got 512mb(not that much , aye) and I'm using CS2 and it's quite a bit slow
the latest and enhanced version of photoshop is CS3...a bit more expensive in comaparison to CS2.....however, you need to have high PC configration in order to run Photoshop CS3 without any diffficultes in your PC...
I got 2,5 on my macbook and cs3 works really smooth dunno if cs2 would work more smooth but thats not an important point for the decision I think
I've worked with CS2 and CS3 extensively and I have to say that unless you're planning on using Photoshop CS3's new features, I wouldn't recommend spending the money on it. That's not to say I don't love CS3's new interface and better image-manipulation features, but I don't think it's worth all the dough if that's not what you're going to use it for. It does feel faster than CS2 however and it definitely boots faster.
