With Internet Marketing getting more crowded by the second, more people are forced to sell me-too products and services. How do you separate yourself from the crowd of competition? Any crowd seperation techniques you'd like to share? For example, one of my favorites is to find out what my competitors hate to do - and start doing it. This never fails to seperate me in the eyes of my targer customers.
A couple of ideas: 1. I create my own descriptions rather than rely on the manufacturer's blurb. 2. I put as a much information about a product as I can, thus answering any question that might come up, researching the products technical details more than the average retailer. 3. I use HTML whenever possible making my site easy to index 4. Customer's reviews can add content, look at what Amazon does 5. Differentiate your products, sell either higher-end or lower-end than most 6. Customize products where possible. The design-it-yourself t-shirt companies are very good at this. wiz
