Crowd-Funded Travel pages. What's your opinion?

Hey guys, in these days there are almost everybody sharing with these pages in facebook, twitter, emails, even in my skype I get invitations.

What to you think? How it can be free trip to somebody when it costs lot of money?

I came across an interesting read about crowd funded travel - http://www.bbc.com/travel/blog/20130425-the-ethics-of-asking-strangers-to-pay . Personally everybody loves a free travel. Yet we need to earn it with some logical reason like business purpose or lives last dying wish. However someone with a passion to travel will find one way or other.

 

I believe it is totally fake, Just another old fake method to collect emails of people who are interested in doing trips to get their inbox loading with travel agency commercial spam ads.

Site is just created at 2013-10-19 05:08:19 type personal ! and most funny is ! it depends on 3rd part collecting and confirming emails of free services of aweber.com ...

 

Or you can try something like what Craigslist Joe http://www.craigslistjoe.com/ did.

You can get to anywhere in the world by simply inspiring other people. Sounds like a win/win situation to me.
