Hello! Tell me please, is crossposting announced recordings of my blog (to Blogger, Livejournal etc) hurts to my positions in Google? And what benefit? Faster indexing, what else?
What do you mean by recordings? Maybe posts? Google will probably pick one version and downgrade the rest
Hi, ancifer2002 I think it would not hurt your rankings on Google even if you post the same contents on different platforms but the duplicated posts might be omitted by Google. So, a little spinning would be always recommended. All the best,
I do not think crossposting could harm your blog ranking, even some might be counted as omitted but not your pages that count. It could help both faster indexing and driven targeted traffics to your blog as well.
It will not harm you if you work in following manner.. 1. first post article on your own domain. 2. wait for the google bot to visit, let the google index this article on your domain as fresh and original content, 3. once it is indexed by google, you are free to publish the same content over other blogs, directories and any thing you can, Benifits are: 1. from article directories, your content will sindicated with backlink to your site, so you will get both visitors, backlinks and pr. 2. from blogs like blogger, livejournel you can have backlinks to get live visitors from that blogs. 3. this is perfect way to build the backlinks, including article marketing.
