I have a reseller hosting account, so my 6 domains all share the same IP. I know it's advised against, say site site a links to bcde and f, b links to acde and f, but would it be ok to link a to b, b to c, and be safe?

When ever I am faced with doing something, I ask myself, what are my intentions, what are the consiquences, and is it worth it.

What is your intentions of crosslinking?

If they're all on the same IP, a link counts less, whatever linking strategy you choose.

It's a common problem among SEOs. That's why it works for Google. Spotting a SEO network of sites is one of G's priorities.

You can always ask for different IPs, or buy other resellers, you would spend more but the links would be more effective.

Or exchange relevant links with others in the same situation.

Yes, I even had a situation where I move a site that was crosslinked on the same ip to its own ip and then I got a nice surge in traffic, but I can't confirm the ip change was the reason.
