Critique my site

if you want to use google to look for them i can give you some pointers:
- FILEZILLA for sending your files (FTP)
- NVU for creating your HTML pages
- GIMP for creating pictures
- FIREFOX for surfing the web
- NOTEPAD++ for editing text files

Those software are the must-have in free software, so if you can get used to them it will be handy for you in the future.

Thanks man but I already found out how. Godaddy has their own FTP that's java-based.

 

NVU for creating web pages untill you reach point when you only need notepad++

 

Did I miss something? I've only used notedpad thus far. (I think it's actually helped my abilities, the way you build muscles stronger if you make them encounter resistance)

 

that is the point .... i never used wysiwyg always sticked with some text editor and thank god for that. Once you know how it works it is 110x faster to make a website than with wysiwyg programs ...

 

Thought so. Though I still can't say exactly how I'm making those tables...if I had to write a website from scratch, I still wouldn't be able to.

 

why not try with css ....

 

I know nothing about CSS. Care to enlighten me?
