Hey guys, I've never got into affiliate marketing before but i think now is the tiem. Out of the many other ways i have of promoting my links (much more effective) i am told that Landing pages are a good way forward. I dont know how to create and effective one and this is why i am posting here. Hopefully this is the right section and hopefully this isnt classified as advertising. I am asking only webmasters or such people to have a look at the page and let me know what they think. The page is http://www.letmeadvise.com/musclehead/ I don't know if this is the right kinda thing. Please criticise, id be mroe than happy to take some tips! Kind Regards -Dave
Dave, Nicely done. You have AIDRA (necessary ingredients of sales copy), you approach, etc. Your call to action is the only thing I am unsure of...since it is so unusual...the no affiliate and no remuneration...I might try duplicate sites...the second one without anything beyond web address (since no email capture, no need for privacy policy, as well) and see if there is a difference. Just my opinion. It is refreshing to see a site which has so much merit...keep up the good work. Much Success, George Pierce
graphics are cool and page is clean but from the landing pages Ive viewed ... yours is a bit wide and with too many bullet points. I would narrow the page and put your top 5-6 bullet points you think. Also he's right, there is NO call to action ... that needs to hit me in the face of what I need to do .... click on the link? then tell me you could even ad a short 1 minute camtasia video explaining the core benefits and how clicking on the link leads you to the desired page... just some thoughts
Well, if i was a buyer, i would at least click the www.themusclehead.com . The landing page creates curiosity to see more
Nice women pics what about email capturing? drop down email box area? usually selling ebooks, you want to capture emails to push them over and over again for 7-10 days. At least capturing their email address you can cross promote with other clickbank products.
I bet you get emails from stomper net huh? I notice a similar layout to the LP mentioned in a free interview that was posted there on LP's... You did a nice job though! Like what was said before, I'd reduce the number of bullet points down a lot. Give the main selling benefits (not features). I'd add maybe a graphic button for the call to action. Hope that helps. ~Jonathan
not bad for an ebook selling style of page. I think most of the others have covered you with good feedback.
I think everything looks good except I have a differentiating opinion regarding the pictures. On one hand I think people are looking to see tone and fit real people on the website. Playing the devil's advocate I also think that the well cut "beautiful people" are often overused in many ads these days so the cartoon approach is a nice change of pace. My 2cents for what it's worth. Looks great though and if you want to share your designer I'm definitely interested. PM me if this is an option. Regards,
No idea why you would promote a product w/o an affiliate link... Unless you created the product Sounds fishy to me, but then again I may be overly paranoid about eBooks in general. Nice rich-jerkish style to it though.
Just a thought, would it be worth trying to structure the page so that the user doesnt need to slide down the window - get everything in the browser at once josh
Yes ... users are lazy I think if you cut down the bullets you can accomplish this ... the less words the better sometimes ... what is the pages 'purpose' .. click through
hi dp mason, Think of adding some testimonials. Bonuses should be made bold and highlighted and in a box and should scream free! Videos would be nice as mentioned earlier. More buttons especially like "order now" should do the trick. Just my 2 cents Regards
I agree with the email captureing. Get their email addres and then hit them with your offer for a new more days. Keeping that at least on their minds for a little bit.
Thanks guys. Seriously amazing feedback ! Couple of questions: 1) Is it worth having multiple page Landing Pages. Like "tutorial" and "review" sections? 2) Whats more important, getting leads or selling te affiliates producy. E.g. my first page (http://www.letmeadvise.com/freebackstagepass/) has an email box. Secod page (/musclehead) is using a neat script so i can add a cookie to the user. 3) Can someone explain what "call to action" means? Never heard the term. 4) Is it bad that i've copied most of the content from the sales page of the affiliate site? Lastly, in repy to prosumer86, im using a nIce script which enables me to just promote the plain link and still get affiliate commisions. If anyone's interested, let me know and ill explain (extremely powerful technique). Thanks so much for the feedback guys. Extremely appreciated. -Dave
