When people advertise, they use ads and whatnot, not articles (unless you are a blog/directory or related).

This sounds fishy, and I might think it is against the guidelines, contact Adsense to insure an answer.

No worries. This is normal. Google ads are targeted to the webpage. So, if you have a webpage about 'Forex' , the ads will be automatically related to the topic ('Forex' ) here. Nothing to worry.

Effectively you have a 'paid to post' article on your site - google ads changing to reflect the content of the article is nothing to worry about, other than if the ads are low paying, or on a totally different topic to your sites content, in which case I'#d think long and hard about posting articles that are unrelated unless the income from that article author for posting the page exceeds the expected income of one of your own pages via adsense.

I was also paid for someone to put a small paragraph on 5 of my blog pages. It didn't look like ads. Rather it was a few sentences with links to their products. Not a bad payout either. She even paid me to correct some errors the paragraph had.
