Criteria to be listed in DMOZ

1. absence of any knowledge about the web
2. absence of any knowledge about the categories you're applying to edit
3. abject ignorance about anything you're applying to actually do is considered a bonus
4. being a high school student helps
5. intellectual impairment is not considered a liability
6. living in your mother's basement and having no motivation to move out apparently makes you meta material

 

You know how easy it is to apply. Here are some Tips.

1. Be a DMOZ *** Kisser
2. Let them know that you can be their puppet.

 

I must say that, as my former colleagues can confirm, I religiously kissed Admin ass and acted at all times as their puppet. I don't recall ever once even disagreeing with a Meta or Admin. And that was the secret of my promotion to Editall, total obedience. My tip for the top - do it my way and be a model editor, respectful at all times and only post internally occasionally and only to support a Meta or Admin. Must see a doctor about that bump on my head, I keep forgetting things.

Ladies, ladies, it is no laughing matter. No Ma'am. How else would one ever achieve the rank of Editall other than by complete loyalty to the duly appointed authorities. You have seen the proof from various editors and former editors in this very forum that kissing bottoms and licking boots is the only, repeat only, way to advance within DMOZ. Therefore I must have done it that way, the evidence is clear. You must be able to see that had it happened any other way I would have been removed and certainly not promoted. I can no longer deny the evidence, it is so compelling. It was only my admiration for the superb Admins that caused me to resign as my sycophancy was clearly embarassing them.

 

Does living with your parents in four room apartment still counts or place is just a little to big?

1. You must be alcoholic.
2. You must smoke Australian Weed
3. You must smoke Ice or Metamphetamine He-he guess ?

 

I think this thread got off the topic, the question was about the criteria for getting listed in DMOZ and not becoming an editor.

The criteria is simple:

Any old page with 20 old pictures of naked bodies will qualify for a listing in DMOZ. If you are a "senior" editor, you can even get away with having 10-15 old porn pictures on your page.

 

This thread is getting very surreal man.

 

Nooo... you need to have submitted your site in 2002, or prior.

 

Well, it matches to everything else about DMOZ.
