Criteria for PR1

Is there any criteria for PR1?

I've been on one site that can esimate your PR and it says you need at least 100 backlinks before it can estimate PageRank. Both my forum and blog are reletively new, my forum is currently PR0 and the blog is yet to receive a PR but the blog has less than 100 backlinks (according to Yahoo, on google is has none).

But for my forum, it only has 3 backlinks on google but over 200 on yahoo.

So what is the criteria for achieving each level of PR?

    Domain age?
    Backlinks?
    Indexed Pages?
    All of the above?

    Thanks :)

    "All of the above" ;)

However, backlinks have a higher influence on your PR. Why? because that means that your site (and you) have some authority in an specific niche: people are linking back to you because your site has some useful info that others must see.

Nope, just backlinks. PR is simply a mathematical formula, based on how many links are pointing to a specific page, also factoring in the PR of the linking pages.

The number of links needed for a PR1 isn't a simple answer. PR of any level is based on:

    - The number of link to your page.
    - The PR on each of those linking pages.
    - The number of outbound links on each of those linking pages.

All of that being said, PR has rather little to do with your rank in the search results, and that's really the only thing that matters.

Just get some links and you will have a PR1 on the next PR update.

Nobody knows for sure how PR is calculated, but it's a safe bet that more links increases your chances of a higher PR.

That said, I have some PR3 sites that don't have that many links to them - around 200, if I remember correctly.

I think that the Pr are not only the backlinks in Google's eye, and the quality of content or other thing ..

The most important thing is the number of back links and the quality of backlinks too.

Don't bother with getting numerous backlinks from low PR sites. A single backlink from a PR7 that has no outgoing links can boost you to PR5

    for pr definitely
    All of the above
and your question was not answered
    you are using pr predicter
for pr predicter that tool requires 100baclinks to calucate using its formula
it checks the pr of all the pages those link to you
    and than predicts
    it is not always accurate
you can get the exact pr in next update in next month
