    Hello all,

I have started running an e-commerce site. I sell my stuff on-line which is fine, but once in a while someone asks me to sell them an item which I do so via paypal which I have to pay fees for. Which is still fine. But then I have to send that money to the person I was selling the item for which means they also pay a fee! How can I overcome this problem!

I have a Paypal Premium account and I am based in the UK.

    Thanks for any help.

Technically Paypal prohibits transactions like this. When you accept payment for another person it's called aggregating, and is currently restricted.

Not sure what the best method of handling this, but I would say make your customer pay a % for you to sell the item. This would be your commission, and should include any fees that you would incur in selling the item. I would make sure to include ebay fees, paypal or other transaction costs, and whatever commission you would normally charge.

Probably something like a flat fee for low cost items, and a percentage for higher ones.
