After the early departure of the teams like India and Pakistan what do you think who will win the World Cup 2007 ??

I thought World Cup was over ;) j/k... I would love to see some team other then Australia to win but I know my wish won't come true - those aussies seem to be in great form - best is they do not choke like SA. SL is not the best mix although they are doing good, Malinga is out and now the only team that can shake Australia is New Zealand.

Aussies all the way, I was supporting Pakistan as I am from there, family routes, but now they are out, the Aussies look unstopable!

I do not think the World Cup is that much of a good competition this time round, death of Bob Woolmer spoilt the whole cup!

there has already been a thousand thread for this, and it looks like australlia are the definite winners! unless south africa pulls out something really great, it won't be easy to defeat australlia!

today is the australlia, and ireland match, if australlia get's first batting, they will sure score a 400+ for sure!:D

NZ? Well we had a good summer but I wouldn't go putting money on it ;)

The problem down here is that cricket is hailed as our major summer sport but nobody plays it. I know only a handful of kids who play - and that will be a major problem for the sport in 10 years time... such a small pool of players to select from.

I know in Australia some of the private schools have cricket as a compulsory sport - don't you love antiquated colonial customs?

Really? Wow - India is such a big country with 100 times the population of Australia and still have pathetic team. Everything Indian is always wake up last minute type decision - no R&D and no infrastructure and that goes with Cricket as well.

You 've got to be kidding. England has no strengths when it comes to playing cricket. England might as well abandon cricket and get on playing soccer full time.
