The score boards are automated. Others will have to be done manually although we are tying to automate the standings, results etc. But news items have to be added manually.

There are many cricket related websites from which you can get the content. We can surely give you a list of sites if you want.

Wordpress is basically a blog script, whereas Joomla is a proper Content Management System (CMS). Just as Wordpress you can easily manage the content through a graphical control panel. Its very simple and no technical knowledge is required. Wordpress doesnt give the flexibility and features which is necessary for a site like this. Running this site using wordpress would be more difficult.

Is there any specific reason why you want it to be converted to WordPress?

 

May be i thought it would be more earier to manage, though i understand the category based images would look great in joomla.
