    What would make the site look better is if the header had a background.. even a gradient or of photographs releated to your site's niche.

    8everything is right, something like semi transparent thematic photo would be very nice to use as a background for the header.

    nice blog, i have voted on both of the polls. i also have a cricket blog but then i have not set any polls yet!
