Once more Australia lost to New Zealand though they managed to score 300+ ... Friends do you think Australian's are no more champion or god have decided to punish them by any means ?
I think they will find it hard to come back now that too in world cup. They are never humiliated so much with back to back 2 series defeat and New Zealand did the magic by defeating world champions 3 times in a row. When one fails chance for other to grab. World power is shaken, best time for others to capitilize and win world cup. Lets hope if India can somehow manage to enter in Semis, they might have a chance this time.
Bad luck 3 times in a series. They managed to score 330+ in two matches and lost. It's not bad luck, this is showing they are no more. Australia is not going to Win this world Cup. They are going down. ICC ranking 2 (Isn't this showing?) After 5 years their ranking dropped and it will drop more in future.
This series was bad enough for Australians. Aussies have lost an ODI by 10 wickets and that in over 600 ODIs played by Australia
They got to improve their bowling department as that can score 300+ but cant defend the score anyways the main reason is OVER CONFIDENCE!!

ICC only allows them to play with other teams in WORLD CUP !! they were without ponting and ghilcrist. with all the big ones fit, ponting, gilcrist, symonds, breth lee etc, they will again start winning. think of india, with out sachin, dravid and saurav. i guess every team miss there top players

Its to early to tell, they had some of there best players out. Though i think NZ deserve some credit, they will be a team to watch in the world cup.
In my view, thats Over Confidence because Australia cannot become a bad team they are still top of the world.
Well they are overrated now and they have not good bowling attck who can defend such a massive 300+ run chease. They lost 3 time after made 300+ runs and lost once even made more than 400 runs in less than 1 year. This is such a bad for world champions.
I think australia needs to rethink their strategies before the world cup, or else they might not go well. In the last mach they could not defeat NZ even after scoring 346 runs and taking 3-4 quick wickets at early stage.
Yes sukantab. They have to think about their strategies because they will go WI without some players who are suffer from injury. Hayden is new in this list now.
