    Both are not same but both sport are interesting.

    Well, I'm not from a "cricket country", there's no tradition for it here and I don't have much interest in it either tbh. I'm not even sure how much the top star players in cricket earns.

    But football is much more world wide as a sport and therebuy there's more money in it.

    i think so too, that it is football

    cricket has just now became money earning thing with arrival of T-20 (which is fairly new)

    still cricket is played (good and hard) between 8 teams, that is not truly global sport too

    In the countries where Cricket is famous, makes a lot of money.
    But as a whole Football makes more money as its played in more nations.

    football, obviously... even if in some countries cricket could generates much money... however, let's have a look to the big sports events around the world.

    It is always Football which gather many people, many ads and then produces a lot of money...

    If you are living in India there is no scope for footballer only cricketer can have a good chance but still footballer like Bhaichung are earning good from football too

    Well Football is highest money earning sports and Cricketers are no where near to Footballers! There is no comparison between these two sports.:D
