    yea I agree...I run a affiliate based loans site...and this domain is good. I could turn around this site...just use the domain and with proper seo rank it in with good keywords...

    To avoid low ball bids I recommend selling this at Sitepoint, you'll find a lot of cashed up buyers there who would probably pay $5000 and beyond for this.

    Heres just a suggestion...

    Keep the site...or go in partners with someone...

    I think you can use that domain name and make a good affiliate based loans site out of it...

    You would need some expertise in that area...but like a few of us said here, the site has a great potential based on the domain name, and maybe you should utilize that first...

    IF I personally owned this site...I would generate leads from it...build the site around companies such as Lendingtree...Lowermybills..affiliates programs....

    creditdeals.com is good I guess for credit cards...but I would optimize more for loans...You can pick up top loan keywords with your domain name...you the know long string keywords that are the most searched...

    Fix that site design...actually delete it completely...and introduce a design that looks similar to wwwDOTwhataboutloansDOTcom

    I like that sites design and since I try to compete for keywords such as mortgage quotes...I know this site ranks highly for those keywords...

    THEN someone would prob want to pay $5k for it..
