Some products are sold and shipped by a 3rd party on amazon. If i send them to the amazon site and they buy that product. Do I get a commission? Or does it have to be sold or shipped through amazon?

The commission you get is the exact same as you would if the product is sold direct by Amazon. BUT, people are less likely to buy 3rd party products. I find my per-click rates rate on Amazon products is higher than 3rd party ones.
