Credit cards processing

I was about to use something like Paypal or an European credit card processor like allopass.com to process payments for digital products

    But what about Moneybookers?

It looks like we can accept credit card payments through Moneybookers

What do you think about Moneybookers?

    Any experience to share?

    Thank you

What are the key features of MB?

(my aim is to maximise the sales conversion rate with a quick & efficient sales process)

Thank you for your comment thewebhostingdir

But is it quite the same for clients willing to pay for a service/digital product with a credit credit? Or do they have to register to MB first?

No they don't need to register for a MoneyBookers Account like PayPal, They can Directly Pay Through Credit Card..

So for clients is it as user friendly as Paypal?

Do you think there can be a conversion rate difference?

People do chargebacks (or disputes) with Paypal too

And sometimes Paypal's support is a pain in the a** too

My only concern in this thread is the sales rate conversion (does MB has a negative effect or not on the sales rate conversion) and customer friendly payment processing

Moneybookers charges something like 8% for credit card transactions and that pretty much is more expensive than Paypal in this respect. However Moneybookers probably has lesser restrictions on the countries you can accept payments from.

However if you want something more secured, why not use a real credit card processor, perhaps plimus.com or 2checkout.com . They care about fraud a lot.

Basically, MB isn't really the ideal system for processing CC's. Don't go past NETeller.com either Last :)

Why not using the favourite system of your local bank? They do offer the best rates and they have a great customer support!

Well, sorry about that, I just wanted to provide your with some alternatives.

You can offer Moneybooker to your clients in addition to paypal...

It's good to offer more choices to clients and also offer your own system (based on a merchant account) which cost less (depending on the amount of sales and how you negociate) and is directly linked to your bank account.

I know credit card processors for years (from 2CO to systems like plimus) and I'm not so much into Paypal or Moneybookers BUT my competitors are using Paypal and/or Moneybookers so I wanted to get more info on Moneybookers
