If you are an online shop owner, you can boost your online sales if you include credit card as one payment option. However you have to apply for a merchant account to be able to implement your own credit card payment or use a third payment processor . Any recommendations on how you set up a credit card payment on your site?

We need alot more information, such as what type of shopping cart do you have ect. It will depend on your site, I would use a first rate cart, cubecart, zencart ect. Alot of merchant accounts will have modules to use with major shopping carts, you also have to have ssl.

if you want, you can use pay-pal virtual terminal. It lets you accept all credit cards on your website including phone orders and emails.
I think it cost like $5 a month but it is worth it for big sites.

    Hope this helps
