Credit Cards for Self-Employed?

Alright, so, I'm getting to the point now where I'm make a lot of money and spending a lot of money. Come tax time, I'm going to have a lot of expenses to write off, and right now mixing my "web" expenses with my personal expenses is not going to cut it.

I'm looking to get a credit card that I'll only use for my internet marketing and what not. When tax time comes around, I'll write off everything on that card as business expense.

So - does anybody have any good recommendations for credit cards that work well in this situation? If you can't think of one specifically for this, just let me know what your credit card recommendations are.

    Thanks :)

American express or any buisness credit card. I like one that also offers cash back like discover card but they are not accepted at alot of places.

You could just get a new card from some other company and only use it for business.

Yeah, cash back on a Discover card is attractive...I saw somebody talking about that not long ago (getting 1% cash back on all purchases made), but like you said, many places don't accept Discover. Ideally, I'd use just one card for *all* business expenses, and in order to do that, I've got to get a card that most people accept.

That probably limits me to Visa, Mastercard, and *maybe* AmEx

I prefer Visa as they are pretty much accepted everywhere. Check out the link in my sig for some business credit cards.

As far as the IRS is concerned, it really doesn't matter what credit card you choose, whether or not it's advertised as a 'business' credit card, or what have you. You can choose any card you like and simply use it ONLY for business purchases. To the IRS, that's what makes it your business credit card - it's really just that simple. So, just find one with good rates, etc.
