Credit card submitted over http, chance of being intercepted?

I made a mistake today on a very highly reputable site. Apparently there was a bug today that if you didn't log out, and simply returned to the site, it would switch from https to standard http. And i purchased something and typed my credit card info in and only realized later that this was over http.

My question is how high of a chance do I have that this info could be intercepted? Should I be bracing for an attack?

 

just try and not bring attention to it and 99.99999 percent chance nothing will happen.

 

I agree. Nothing to worry about really, but bad practice for sites that sell and don't use an SSL.

 

That's exactly how peoples lose their money on the internet - by leaving their CC & other data on non-certified websites !
