you should check your agreement. I cannot tell you since I am now aware of what kind of merchant account you are holding and what agreement you have with your provider. Bottom line is that you can risk losing your account. Also, the people you provide services to will find themselves in a very awkward situation as well if it happens
This changes everything. We've been talking about different things. As a 2co vendor you cannot accept payments for 3rd party products except your own (judging by the fact that you were offering your help to other participants of this thread to accept payments). I assume this is against your agreement with them.
I suggest to use Paypal for accepting payments from worldwide while for India setup online payment portal by setting up services from banks for payment with Credit Card like Flipkart is doing this.
I guess paypal charges are high and chargeback cases are more. Better to use local payment gateway like - payumoney, billdesk etc.
I would need to know which industry you are in to answer that best. I would first suggest people like Rohit09 really need to do a little research into the differences between a chargeback and a refund. Chargeback =/= Refund!!! I 100% agree that a processor should defend every refund as much as possible. But if it is within 6 months of purchase and the customer still feels the purchase wasn't justified then they will just call their bank and initiate a chargeback. It's something that needs to be balanced finely, and utilised with anti fraud techniques like IP address, email address etc. Success relies on the data collected usually. I must admit i started scrolling faster through the middle of this thread as it gets pretty confusing so if this has already been covered i apologise!
