Hi guys is it true that, if you want to use your credit card as a non-verified consumer you need to first get verified which will take 3-5 days? I thought the customer can just pay by credit card so long as they fill out their info. Thanks in advance.
You can definitely pay through a credit card even if you are not a paypal member so you can most definitely use a credit card to spend even with an unverified account. However there are limits to how much you can spend as they do not want you to use a stolen credit card for your purchases. It does not take much to get your account verified so your limits would be lifted.
Hi Eddy, so what you are saying is they can use their credit card instantly without being verified right? It seems that one client of mine think that PayPal makes you become verified first before you can use your credit card. Wonder why though..
Well, if you seen those Paypal shopping cart, you can buy through there without being a member, you just need to come from a paypal supported country which is not hard since most of the world is included. They will however prompt you to sign up for an account but it is not compulsory. This is what I see in the Pay Page Then after that, when I click on the Credit Card link, I got the following
It is a Buy it Now button. Does that make any difference? Yes I see the same. Perhaps PayPal makes it purposely not clear but sets it up in a way where the customer thinks they need to get verified and sign up before using their credit card...
The above is taken from a Shopping Cart but it is the same for any of the other merchant services option such as Buy Now, Request Money or Paypal Invoice. Only the Send Money option requires them to be members but there is nothing to stop them from paying you if they are unverified.
Credit Card is necessayr to use online transactions in paypal. if you just withdraw money then add your locak bank account in it. i use only my bank account and not CC.
