Hello i am thinking of setting up a multi product sales site, just wanting to know some information really on taking card payments directly into my bank/business account. I dont want to use paypal or anything just a https:// where they add card details and pay me. Any ideas would be greatly helpful. Many thanks in advance.
No, you cannot do that that way. If you want to process the credit card payment yourself, you will need a Merchant Account and a Payment Gateway. Visit your local bank and ask them about that option. There are some services only which provides virtual terminal and gateway services which you can integral with your website.
