Credit Card Integration

    Hi dear members,

I am going to launch an eCommerce website in few weeks. Website is going to be Paypal integrated and I was wondering if there's any option in Paypal to allow non-members to pay using credit card (without Paypal account).

What I need is that customers with no Paypal account can pay via credit card and preferably through Paypal (without registration), as Paypal is secure. Please let me know if there's anything related.

    Thanks,

I have similar eCommerce website already up and running using automated PayPal payments. PayPal allows non-member to do one credit card purchase without an account, basicly it does create that account automatically to this user upon first CC purchase. I am not sure does this policy apply to all countries though.

Otherwise for direct credit card purchases through paypal (Paypal website payments Pro) your gonna need validated business account with a legit company.

    @nixproxy, thanks for the help.

Just one thing please, the Paypal Payments Pro you mentioned; is this free or does it cost any monthly fee (apart from transaction fee which Paypal usually deducts)?

    Thanks,

Does it offer credit card transactions without having an account?

Also, can I use it with Paypal as a secondary payment option, as Paypal is more reputable and secure?

    Thanks

There is a Website Payments Standard option that allows credit cards without a paypal account. Basically you get routed to the same site with the options to login to paypal or just use your credit card.

You can get Website Payments Standard by just upgrading to a business account.

EDIT: Also, I'd figure I'd mention 2CO. It's a good service that allows the processing of credit cards as well. It costs ~$40 from what I remember.

Thanks for the big help mate, really appreciate it. I think now I am getting somewhere.

Anyways, about Paypal, is there any monthly fee for upgrading to Business account (to accept CC without Paypal account)? Or are there any charges per transactions?

About 2CO, is the amount ($40) paid monthly or a one time fee?

    Regards,

Thanks @TheRazor5. Correct me if I am wrong, 1ShoppingCart charges fee for subscription; right? I have seen their monthly packages/features on their website. Also be kind enough to let me know about the best suited package that fulfills my requirements.

    Thanks,

I'd say start with the Starter package at 35 bucks a month and if you need more volume just upgrade... If you'll want to do more advanced stuff like upsells and whatnot then go pro all the way for 100 bucks a month.
