im not 18 yet, and i really need a credit card for PPC expenses. I have tried and tried to get a credit card, but i always get denied..even if i say im 18 years old (im 17). does anyone know how i can get a credit card, not a prepaid thats what im using now, but its hard when i have to wait to get paid by my affiliate network, then use the money again. So does anyone know of any cards that will allow a 17 year old, even if i own my own business? I need one with a limit around 10k a month, probobly more in a few months. or will i have to wait till im 18...
You're not going to get that kind of limit right away. You basically have no credit. The best thing to do is go under your parents card. If they allow that because it's a risk for them.
I believe in the US, if you have no income, you could get a credit limit of about US$500 . I seriously doubt that any card would give you a 10k limit for your first card. You could however get a Visa or Mastercard Debit card first and if you have 10k in the attached bank account, you should be able to request the bank to raise your spending limit to the full balance of your account. Most Debit card would work like a credit card except the fact that the bank does not extend credit to you. For a credit card, you must be able to prove that you are capable of paying your monthly bills for the bank to raise your credit limit. In some places, you may need to provide a driver's license, social security card, identity card or passport in order to get a credit card. I don't recall that you could legally start a business at the age of 17.
i have my LLC for two years now.....i will just continue to use my bank account until im 18 then i guess
Cool! Which state did your start your LLC in ? I thought that the legal age is 18 years old, apparently they reduced it to 16 to start a LLC and I did not know about it. Thanks for the update.
if you are from India, then you can get a credit card from SBI very easily just by showing you work for a private company and keep some money on your SBI account because credit card issuer will check your bank account for transaction....
