Creative Ways To Say "Thank You" To Customers Savvy business owners are realizing that customers are the lifeblood of their business. Do you believe so too? If yes, then you must realized that it’s imperative to strategically learn how to keep them, make them fiercely loyal to YOU, and influence them to keep coming back. I believe there are unlimited strategies one can adopt to effectively achieve this lofty success, however there’re equally basic, but extremely proven ideas that are quite ‘natural’ to all humans, but unfortunately… VASTLY OVERLOOKED! One of such strategies is to learn to say “thank you†to customers in creative ways. A simple "thank you" can go a long way towards fostering a long, rewarding relationship between you and your customers. Here’re few examples: 1) Pick up your phone and call him. Tell him how much you really appreciate him for being part of your success. Let him know he is important to you in real terms. 2) Send birthday letters or greetings. I believe if you receive a warm birthday greetings or present, you will feel elated, don’t you? Your customers will feel same way as you. Now, be wise; seize this natural human inclination to say “thank you†to him on the day of his birthday, and improve your relationship with each other, thereafter. For example, you can create a personalized birthday greetings. But the one created in your own handwriting will prove more effective. You can also send little gifts just to compliment your handwritten messages. But avoid those over-used gifts, such as cheap pens, exercise books and related stuffs. 3) Employ ‘thank you†as a permanent strategy in your business. You can do this in diverse ways, for example send out a free sample of your product, and backed it up with a handwritten letter, saying how much you love his patronage in the previous days, weeks, months and years. 4) Unexpected GIFTS will make him remember you for a long time. Your customers will be taken aback, and will joyfully remember you for a long time, if unexpected gifts are ‘dashed’ exclusively at them. And for them only! For example, if you operate a supermarket, and a customer buy some items, you can add a frozen chicken part, ice cream, lollies, and just anything nice to take home along with this order. Make sure the item has some values. If you’re operating a professional firm you could give your customers some children items to give their children back to home. Remember that all parents love their children, and for the kids, they will keep reminding their parents where the gifts come from – YOU!
I actually do employ a little of these type of techniques, and they do get noticed. I sometimes give away (or heavily discount) games to long time loyal buyers of my games (www.stormcloudcreations.com) and give them free peeks at future software.

Thanks Edisonian and others who posted... I felt it is appropriate to share some of my resources with other members here on DP. I am particularly elated that you guys received this post positively, unlike the criticisms that trialed a similar article post I made about 'checking car fluid brake' on the general chat sub-forum. Once again, thanks and God bless. Patrick Ubuane
