Hi- This is a contest that will stretch your marketing mind: SCENARIO: I rank on Google's first page for a particular keyword. The problem, of course, is that very few people search for it, since it is a bit of an out-of-the-way, unusual, though intriguing word. THE GOAL: To creatively use viral marketing and strategic social networking to get people interested in the word and googling it, rather than promoting the website. This way the visitors will be highly targeted, driven by curiosity in the idea, and not even feel promoted to. ALREADY THOUGHT OF: 1.Calling in to radio talk shows and mentioning the word during an enticing comment. 2.Posting it as a suggested "word of the day" at some sites that have this (although if you know any others where a fair number of users would get this, I will definitely call that a winner!) 3.
