Contest Creative LOGO Contest | $30 Prize via Paypal - 4 Days!

Hi,

We are creating a new brand called "Icon Fight Gear"

This company will offer MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) gear such as shorts, gloves, etc.


Requirements:

-CREATIVITY! Don't be afraid to go outside of my guidelines if you feel it will work well, please be creative

-We would like a professional & creative logo with the word "Icon" as the main text and you can choose to include the word "Fighter" as a subtext if you'd like.

-Try not to make it so web 2.0. Web 2.0 styles are a bit too clean and elegant for martial arts, here's an example of popular MMA brands in the market for some inspiration: http://altpickconnects.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/logos.png

-An icon for the logo is optional

-There is no color restriction, be creative, but make sure the logo also works with just black and white as well

-Final File submission must be in Adobe Illustrator format (please make it easy to edit the colors if necessary)



Timeline & Payment

-$30 via paypal

-Contest will run for 4 days from when this thread began (I will only extend the contest if I am awaiting a contestant's submission or revision)

-There will definitely be at least 1 winner (I am very against clients reserving the right to cancel contests)

-If we don't feel that we will be able to use any logos submitted here for the website, the top winners will split the prize money.

Great job so far, we're coming to the home stretch.

I like 2 designs the most: pehulz and watari

pehulz: Everything looks good but can you just remove the white line that's in the middle of the font for the words "Fight Gear" or pick a similar font that doesnt have that line.

watari: I like everything about the icon design minus the silhouette in the middle, can you replace it with something simpler and more recognizable like this: http://trinoweb.com/images/design/linker_logo.jpg except solid without the grungyness of it. I like the logo on the bottom more but I prefer the font on the one on top.
