Creative Job Title

    Hi everyone,
I am in the process of launching my website design service to the local community. I am at the stage of designing the business cards, and am up to where I add my name and title - but have drawn a blank.

I don't want to use CEO, or managing director, I am looking for something more creative, but still shows that I am the one in charge.

I was just wondering what others have put on their business cards, and if anyone had an suggestions for me.

    thanks

well, if you get 'too creative' people might not take you seriously. I can only think of President at the moment. Or 'Premier'. Or 'Chairman'.

hmm....I'm going to have the same problem in the coming months.

depends on the target marget, and the overall image your presenting to clients/potential clients.

    eg.
web design laison officer <just thought of it LOL
    freelance web designer
web designer/business manager <probably what i would choose.

    good luck :)

My friend who runs a design firm call himself Creative Director.

I think the most common term is Art Director

If it's just you, there's nothing wrong with "freelance designer." If anything the freelance part tells people they'll be saving money over hiring full-timers, and works well if you're small-scale. if you start hiring employees or regular subcontractors, you can move to something a bit "higher up" like Creative Director.

    Web Guru
    or
    The Webster

I used to call myself "Adamthewebguy" but then again, my name is Adam so it works for me - lol

Or you could just be called - The Boss, but then Bruce Springsteen might sue you :(

How about just leave it blank with a couple lines underneath, and tell people that you are the boss and you have not voted on what to call yourself - people that you meet would laugh, and they would also know that you are the boss!
