There is a flash game released under the Creative Commons License, that I am making for the iPhone. I did not make the flash game, but am making the iphone app. As long as I give credit to the original flash developer it's okay to use same idea, and name correct?

Depends of the Creative Commons License, do you know what kind of license is?

    Check it out: creativecommons.org/about/licenses

No. You're mixing two different concepts.

Creative Commons involves copyright law. You need to review the particular license involved to see what rights you have and what attribution is required. This can involve having the same "idea", although ideas are not copyrightable.

Your post, though, also refers to using the "same name". That is typically a trademark issue and not a copyright issue. Whether there is a creative commons license or not is irrelevant. For example, Wikipedia has a creative commons license, but you cannot create a Wikipedia phone app.
