Well a lot of people are loosing the meaning of blogs indeed. But on the other hand there are lots of people will love to tell about things that interest them and having a growing community that supports them and push them further. For people like me who don't have something to tell about where isn't written much about before it isn't smart to start a blog. I did once to just try it out and make some money. I found it too time consuming and nobody liked it I think and then the meaning is lost indeed. But you can't always say that blogs who are meant to make money aren't good.
I started a blog just to help my fellow music producers. yes I have adsense on there but make no cash from it, and don't really care. But I see blogs all the time geared at just making money so yes, I think its loosing its meaning somewhat.
